Realization
Capivara Humor is a realization of the Instituto Ocellaris Escola de Arte.

Exhibition
The works enrolled in the competitive show will be exhibited from March 30 to April 15, 2026.
Modalities
Unpublished works can be presented in the following modalities, with a limit of 01 (one) work per category:
1 – Cartoon
- Theme: Bipolar Disorder
2 – Strips / HQ
- Theme: Bipolar Disorder
- Text in Portuguese or English, or without text
- Maximum of one page
3 – Caricature
- Theme: Bipolar Disorder
- Celebrities or historical figures that could have bipolar disorder
- Limit of a vertical drawing
4 – Political Cartoon
- Theme: Free (Global)
Participation
- Open to artists of any nationality
- Amateurs or professionals
- Over 18 years old
Each participant may register unpublished drawings. Works that have already received awards may not be registered until the closing date of registrations.
Registration
Registration must be made through the form available at the link “Participate”.
File specifications:
- Format: JPG
- Size: A4
- Resolution: 300 DPI
Each artist may submit a maximum of 01 work per category:
- CARTOON: Graphic humor according to the main theme
- CARICATURE: Graphic humor expressing the physical and/or personality traits of the celebrity
- COMIC STRIPS / COMIC STORIES: Sequential graphic art (maximum of 02 pages per work)
- POLITICAL CARTOON: Graphic humor about any current global theme
IMPORTANT
Registration will only be accepted if all works are sent in a single message, including the following information:
- Full Name
- Artistic Name
- Address
- CPF
- RG
- Phone
Techniques and Dimensions
- Size: 30 cm x 21 cm (A4)
- Works must be unpublished and original
- Technique is free (traditional or digital)
- Printed works on couchê/A4 will be accepted

Works must be delivered in person at:

IMPORTANT
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not allowed.
Awards
Cash Prizes
- 1st Place: R$ 1,500.00 for each of the four categories Total: R$ 6,000.00
- 2nd Place: R$ 1,000.00 for each of the four categories Total: R$ 4,000.00
- 3rd Place: R$ 500.00 for each of the four categories Total: R$ 1,500.00
Total prize money: R$ 12,000.00
All prizes are under the total responsibility of the Instituto Ocellaris.
IMPORTANT
Registrations from abroad must apply for a bank with a branch in Brazil.
Trophies
Trophies will be awarded to the top three artists in each category.
Certificates
Certificates will be granted to three honorable mentions in each category.
There will be no more than one award per author in each category. If this occurs, the award will be assigned to the author with the next highest score.
The Organizing Committee may institute other awards and mentions at its discretion.
Judgment
There will be:
- A selection jury
- An awards jury, composed of qualified professionals from the field
The awards jury reserves the right:
- Not to assign awards to categories that do not reach a sufficient quality level
- To transfer awards to other categories
- To create a special hall prize
If any irregularity, fraud, or plagiarism is identified, the jury may cancel the award and assign it to the next ranked artist.
Publication and Contestation
Award-winning works will be published on the official page and Instagram profile of Capivara Humor after the exhibition opening.
The results may be contested up to one week after the opening, with proof of any irregularity unknown to the jury.
Copyright and Collection
All registered works (awarded or not) will be acquired by the Instituto Ocellaris.
The works will become part of the Capivara Humor Collection and may:
- Participate in traveling exhibitions
- Be used in print, television, electronic media
- Be published in books and magazines
By registering, the artist fully agrees with this regulation and automatically transfers the copyright of the submitted works, in accordance with Law No. 9.610 of February 1988 (Brazilian Copyright Law), in a total, universal, definitive, and free manner, for all forms of use by the Instituto Ocellaris.
