The 12th Tehran International Cartoon & Caricature Biennial / 2025

Theme: Cartoon: Hurry & Free, Comic: Free, Caricature: Derambakhsh, Alizadeh , Latifi, Shapour, Mohases

3. Comic Strip: Free
4. Caricature (Portraits): Portraits of Iranian Cartoon Masters – Parviz Shapour, Kambiz Derambakhsh, Ardeshir Mohasses, Gholamali Latifi, and Javad Alizadeh
   
   Rules:

• Each participant may submit up to 5 works in each category.
• Submitted works must not have won any previous awards.
• Works should not have been published in the catalogs of previous editions of this Biennial.
• Artworks must be submitted in PNG or JPG format, with a resolution of 300 dpi and a minimum size of 2000 pixels on one side.
• Works created in any technique are accepted, except those produced using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Participants must include a Word file containing their full name, postal address, email address, phone number, photo, and short CV.
• A PDF version of the catalog will be sent to all participating artists.
• Only the finalists will receive a printed volume of the official catalog.
  
  The attendance of Iranian winners at the closing ceremony is mandatory.

Prizes:
Grand Prize (Thematic Section): €8,000 + Trophy & Certificate
First Prize in each section: €2,000 + Trophy & Certificate
Second Prize in each section: €1,500 + Trophy & Certificate
Third Prize in each section: €1,000 + Trophy & Certificate
