Call for Entries: 3rd Edition “CARPE VINUM” International Cartoon Contest 2026, Romania

The 3rd Edition of the “CARPE VINUM” International Cartoon Contest is now officially open for submissions. This prestigious competition invites cartoonists from around the world to explore the diverse and humorous aspects of wine culture.

Theme and Requirements

The central theme of the contest is Wine. In a rapidly digitalizing art world, this competition stands out by preserving traditional techniques and exclusively accepting fully analogue submissions.

• Technique: Only original, hand-drawn works will be accepted. Digital prints or reproductions are not eligible.
• Submission Limit: A maximum of 3 submissions per artist.
• Originality: The author remains responsible for the originality of the work. Plagiarism in any form will lead to disqualification.

Prizes and Awards

The jury will award several prizes, including special recognitions from sponsors:

• Grand Prize: 1,500 EUR
• Special Prizes: Various awards offered by the official contest sponsors.

By submitting their work, artists agree to the following:
