Shortlist Announced for the International Cartoon Contest “Invisible Disability” in Izmir, Turkey

The initial evaluation phase of the International Cartoon Contest “Invisible Disability,” hosted in Izmir, Turkey, has been concluded. The organizing committee has officially released the list of finalists for this prestigious competition, which aims to leverage the power of art to foster global social awareness.

26 Artworks Advance to the Final Round

On April 14, 2026, the international jury convened to review a total of 464 submissions from across the globe. Following a meticulous professional assessment based on artistic merit and thematic relevance, 26 outstanding cartoons were selected for the official shortlist. These works will now proceed to the final stage of evaluation.

Public Review and Integrity Standards

In alignment with the principles of transparency and artistic integrity, the organizers have opened a window for public review. Any complaints or reports regarding the following issues must be submitted for investigation:

• Plagiarism or significant similarity to existing works.
• The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
• Works that have previously won awards in other competitions.

Submission Guidelines for Reports: All reports, accompanied by relevant documentation and evidence, must be sent to newcartoonizmir@gmail.com no later than April 19, 2026. Please note that submissions received after this deadline will not be evaluated.
