OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Embracing Our Differences 2027 International Art Competition
Embracing Our Differences is officially inviting artists and writers worldwide to participate in the 2027 large-scale outdoor exhibition in Southwest Florida. This initiative utilizes art as a powerful catalyst for dialogue regarding inclusion, kindness, and respect, challenging participants to express the complexity of human diversity through visual storytelling.
About the Exhibition
Selected works are reproduced as billboard-sized installations and displayed in public parks from mid-January through April. Each year, 50 artworks paired with original quotations are chosen to create an impactful open-air gallery that engages millions of visitors and fosters meaningful conversations on social issues.
Participation Criteria
- Eligibility: Open to artists, photographers, students, amateurs, and professionals worldwide.
- Age Requirement: 13 years and older (participants under 13 require parental consent).
- Originality: Submissions must be original and non-AI-generated work.
- Theme: Interpretations of “Embracing Our Differences” with an emphasis on clarity of message and impact.
- Entry Fee: Free of charge.
Prizes
A total of $6,000 in cash awards will be presented, divided equally among three categories:
- Best-in-Show Adult
- Best-in-Show Student
- People’s Choice (Selected by exhibition visitors)
