Posterheroes 2026: “Still Human” – Staying Human in the Age of AI
Posterheroes, one of the most prestigious international graphic design competitions focused on social communication, invites creative minds to explore the fine line between humanity and technology for its 15th edition. Organized by the PLUG cultural association in collaboration with Favini, ITC-ILO, and Fondazione Time2, this year’s competition centers on the theme “Still Human.”
The Theme: Still Human
In an era where artificial intelligence permeates every aspect of life, Posterheroes 2026 examines how algorithms, data, and automated systems influence our perceptions, creativity, and decision-making processes. Rather than judging technology, participants are encouraged to reflect on concepts such as authorship, responsibility, and the value of human experience in a digital world. The boundaries between human agency and technological systems are redefined through the power of visual language.
