The organizing committee has officially announced the winners of the 13th International Caneva Ride Award, one of Italy’s notable international cartoon competitions. The 2026 edition was organized under the theme “Things Were Better When They Were Worse”, attracting cartoonists from around the world.
A total of 202 cartoonists from 52 countries participated in this year’s competition, with 432 cartoons accepted by the jury.

The competition once again brought together artists from dozens of countries, highlighting the diversity and creativity of contemporary international cartoon art.
The 13th International Caneva Ride Award Exhibition, featuring the best selected cartoons from the competition, will be open to visitors at Villa Frova Exhibition Hall from 4 July to 26 July 2026.
The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to discover a wide selection of outstanding works by leading cartoonists from around the world while celebrating the universal language of satire and visual humor.
