FECONEWS Magazine No. 89 Released — FECO Launches International Call for Issue No. 90

The Federation of Cartoonists Organisations (FECO) has officially released FECONEWS Magazine No. 89, continuing its long-standing tradition of documenting major events, exhibitions, competitions, and developments from the international cartoon community.

Recognized as one of the world’s leading publications dedicated to cartoons, caricature, comics, and graphic humor, FECONEWS brings together news and contributions from FECO member organizations across the globe.

A Rich New Issue for Cartoon Enthusiasts

Issue No. 89 features a wide range of international content, including a heartfelt tribute to the distinguished comics scholar Professor John A. Lent (1936–2026), whose pioneering work greatly influenced comics studies and cartoon research worldwide.

Another highlight is the extensive coverage of the international caricature exhibition “The World of Football”, held at Instituto Cervantes Cairo, showcasing works by artists from Egypt, Spain, and Latin America.

The magazine also includes memorial articles honoring legendary Turkish cartoonist Erdoğan Başol, artist biographies, exhibition reviews, reports on international cartoon competitions, and news from FECO member organizations around the world.
