Winners of the 17th International George van Raemdonck Cartoonale 2026

The winners of the 17th International George van Raemdonck Cartoonale, held in Boechout, Belgium, have been announced.

The theme of the 2026 competition was “HAND.”

Vladimir Stankovski of Serbia received the First Prize – George van Raemdonck Prize. Camille Ledigarcher of France received the Second Prize, while Alessandro Gatto of Italy received both the Third and Fourth prizes.

Pol Leurs of Luxembourg, Luc Vernimmen of Belgium and Dirk Gijsels of Belgium completed the list of award winners.

The results were announced on 28 August 2026. The competition is organized by International Humour in Art (IHA), in cooperation with the Municipal Council of Boechout, the Boechout Cultural Council and Davidsfonds Boechout-Vremde.
