JIA Illustration Award 2026: Call for Entries
The Japan Illustrators’ Association (JIA) has announced the opening of applications for the JIA Illustration Award 2026. This international competition welcomes a wide range of techniques, including digital illustration, traditional drawing, mixed media, and 3D artwork.
Competition Guidelines
There is no fixed theme for the competition. Participants will be evaluated based on technical skill, originality, and visual identity. The award is open to both professional and amateur artists worldwide.
Prizes
The total prize pool is approximately 800,000 Yen, distributed as follows:
- Grand Prix: 500,000 Yen
- Gold Award: 200,000 Yen
- Platinum Award: 100,000 Yen
- Others: Silver and Bronze awards, certificates of merit, and opportunities for publication and exhibition.
Submission Details
- Deadline: June 30, 2026
- Eligibility: Open to all artists regardless of age or nationality.
- Entry Fee: Approximately 5,000 – 15,000 Yen, depending on the number of entries and membership status.
