The 30th International Competition “Fax for Peace” is back for 2026, inviting artists, students, and creative minds from across the globe to Spilimbergo, Italy—virtually and physically. If you believe in the power of art to foster solidarity and defend human rights, this is your stage.
What is Fax for Peace?
Founded by the Municipality of Spilimbergo and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, this competition focuses on themes that define our collective future: peace, tolerance, the fight against racism, and the protection of human rights.
Who Can Enter?
The doors are open to everyone:
- Professional Artists (This is where the global cartooning community shines!)
- Students of all grades and school types.
Categories and Prizes
There are six main prizes of €300.00 each, distributed across:
- Kindergarten and Primary Schools
- Lower Secondary Schools
- Secondary High Schools
- Video or Cartoon (Max 5 minutes)
- Artists (Visual arts/Photography)
- Satirical or Humorous Drawing (Focusing on human and civil themes)
There is also a Special Prize “Social Responsibility” (€300.00) for works reflecting environmental sustainability and human rights.
How to Submit Your Work
Participation is simple and digital-friendly:
- Visual Art: JPG format, max 1.5 Mb.
- Videos/Cartoons: Max 5 minutes (AVI, MPEG, QuickTime, etc.).
- Deadline: From March 2026 until June 30, 2026 (24:00 PM).
