4th Anniversary of SPPU Museum of Cartoon Art: A Call to Indian Cartoonists
India’s rich history of visual satire is taking center stage! To celebrate its 4th Anniversary, the SPPU Museum of Cartoon Art is inviting editorial cartoonists and illustrators from across the country to showcase their published works.
This non-competitive exhibition aims to honor the sharp pens and creative minds that shape public discourse through news media. Whether you are a currently active professional or a veteran of the craft, this is your chance to have your work permanently archived in a prestigious institution.
Key Event Details
- Theme: Editorial Cartoons and Illustrations.
- Eligibility: Open to Indian editorial cartoonists/illustrators (print or digital media). Senior, retired cartoonists are also highly encouraged to participate.
- Submission Requirement: One (1) published work in digital format.
- Essential Info: You must include the date of publication and the name of the media outlet.
- Deadline: February 15, 2026.
- Exhibition Date: March 15, 2026.
Why Participate?
Selected works will not only be exhibited during the anniversary celebrations but will also be permanently archived and displayed in the SPPU Museum. Attendees will be personally felicitated with a Certificate of Appreciation, while those joining remotely will receive an e-Certificate.
