52nd Rendezvous in Marostica: The Heart of World Caricature Beats with the Theme of “Hope”

One of Italy’s most established humor festivals, Umoristi a Marostica, is opening its doors for the 52nd time this year. Bringing together hundreds of artists from around the world, the exhibition invites art enthusiasts to both smile and reflect with the theme “Speranza” (Hope).

ITALY (International News Center) – Considered one of the most prestigious stops in the world of graphic arts and humor, the 52nd International Exhibition of Humorous Graphics (Rassegna Internazionale di Grafica Umoristica) meets art lovers in the historic atmosphere of Marostica. Hosted by the Castello Superiore di Marostica (Upper Castle), this year’s event focuses on the concept of “Hope,” a timely and universal necessity.

Massive Participation from 62 Countries

This year’s edition has garnered significant global interest. Within the scope of the competition and exhibition, 396 artists from 62 different countries reflected their unique perspectives through a blend of irony and sensitivity. Featuring hundreds of works in total, the event once again proves that humor is not just a smile, but a universal way of thinking against the challenges of today’s world.

In Memory of Mariagrazia Quaranta “GIO”

This year’s “Salone d’autore” (Author’s Salon) section of the event is dedicated to the artist Mariagrazia Quaranta (GIO), who left a lasting mark in recent years. This special section organized in memory of the artist adds emotional and artistic depth to the exhibition.

Opening and Visit Information

The official opening and award ceremony of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, May 9, at 5:00 PM at the Castello Superiore di Marostica. This ceremony, which will bring together representatives of the art world, will also introduce the award-winning works to the public.
