Entries Open for the 3rd Cyber Security Cartoon Award 2026

The organizers of the Cyber Security Cartoon Award (CSCA) have officially announced the third edition of their international cartoon competition, inviting professional editorial and political cartoonists from around the world to explore one of the most pressing issues of the digital age: cyber security and privacy.

The competition aims to raise awareness of online threats, data protection, digital privacy, and cyber resilience through the universal language of cartoon art. Cartoonists are encouraged to address the challenges, risks, and possible solutions related to cyber security and privacy in creative and thought-provoking ways.

The contest is open to professional editorial and political cartoonists of all ages, nationalities, and experience levels. All submitted works must be original creations by the entrant. The organizers have clearly stated that AI-generated images will not be accepted.

Participants may submit up to three cartoons. Entries must be sent in digital format (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or PDF), with a maximum file size of 5 MB per artwork. Cartoons should be prepared either in A3 format (420 mm × 297 mm) at 300 dpi or A4 format (210 mm × 297 mm) at 600 dpi.

Submissions should be emailed to award@cybersecuritycartoonaward.ca with the subject line “CSCA Submission 2026 – [Your Name]”. The email must include the participant’s full name, short biography, age, nationality, contact details, personal website, and publication details if the submitted cartoons have previously appeared in print or online media.

The deadline for entries is September 1, 2026.

An international jury composed of experts in cyber security and cartoon art will evaluate the entries based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, artistic quality, and clarity of message.

The competition offers cash prizes and certificates for the top winners. First Prize carries an award of $1,000, Second Prize $500, and Third Prize $250. Honorable Mention recipients will receive certificates.

According to the regulations, artists retain the copyright to their work while granting CSCA the right to use, publish, and display submitted cartoons for promotional and educational purposes with proper credit.

Winners will be notified by email and announced on the official CSCA website and social media channels.
