Results of the 6th International Love/Affection Cartoon Competition Announced

The results of the 6th International Love/Affection Cartoon Competition organized by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality have been officially announced. The competition attracted significant international participation, bringing together cartoonists from around the world under the universal theme of love and affection.

A total of 344 cartoonists from 47 countries submitted 997 cartoons for this year’s competition. Following the jury’s evaluation, the winners in both the Adult and Under-18 categories were selected.

Adult Category (18+)

The First Prize was awarded to Liu Qiang from China. Turkish cartoonist Oğuz Demir received the Second Prize, while the Third Prize went to Faruk Soyarat of Türkiye.

Honorable Mention Awards were presented to Ahmet Aykanat (Türkiye), Ozan Soydan (Türkiye), and Alexander Yakovlev (Russia).

The special award named after renowned Turkish cartoonist Behiç Ak was presented to Tuna Ceylan (Türkiye).
