Global Design iT Award 2026 Opens Call for Entries
The Global Design iT Award 2026, organized by the Korean Federation of Design Industry Associations (KFDIA), has officially opened its call for entries. Now in its 15th edition, the international competition recognizes outstanding design projects that combine creativity, innovation, and public value while promoting design as a catalyst for social impact and international collaboration.
The competition welcomes designers, studios, companies, and multidisciplinary teams from around the world to submit completed projects across seven design categories:
- Product Design
- Visual Communication Design
- Environmental Design
- Service Design
- AI & New Media Design
- ESG Design
- Safety Design
With its broad scope, the Global Design iT Award provides an international platform for professionals working across industrial, graphic, digital, environmental, and emerging design disciplines.
Entries will be evaluated by an international jury composed of distinguished design professionals from both academia and industry, ensuring a comprehensive and multidisciplinary assessment of each submission.
Entry Fee
The early-bird jury fee is free for submissions received by 16 August 2026.
After the early-bird period, the jury fee will be:
- USD 50 for individual applicants
- USD 100 for company applicants
Eligibility
The competition is open to designers worldwide. Eligible entries must be completed design projects submitted in one of the official competition categories.
Awards
The Global Design iT Award 2026 will present Grand Prize, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, along with several prestigious Special Awards, including:
- Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award
- Minister of the Interior and Safety Award
- President of the Korea Institute of Design Promotion Award
- President of the Korean Federation of Design Industry Associations Award
The winners will be announced during the official Global Design iT Award 2026 Awards Ceremony, which will take place on 11 December 2026 at Chavitseom Anniversary Hall in Seoul, South Korea.
