Participants Announced for the International Cartoon Exhibition “World of Football” in Cairo
Football and cartoon art will come together in Cairo as the Instituto Cervantes, the Spanish Cultural Center in Egypt, hosts the international exhibition “World of Football”, bringing together artists from across Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Opening on June 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the exhibition will remain open to visitors until July 15, 2026, presenting a unique collection of 30 cartoons and caricature portraits celebrating some of the greatest legends in football history.
The exhibition features artistic interpretations of internationally renowned football icons including Mohamed Salah, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Diego Maradona, along with many other legendary players whose achievements have left a lasting mark on the sport.
Artists from Egypt, Spain, Mexico, Uruguay, Peru, Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina are taking part in the exhibition, reflecting the universal language of both football and cartoon art.
