International Jury Announced for “Flight of Butterflies” Cartoon Exhibition 2026
The international jury has been announced for the “Flight of Butterflies” International Cartoon Exhibition 2026 in Shiraz, Iran.
The five-member jury brings together cartoonists from Portugal, Iran and China:
Ricardo Ferreira — Portugal
Mohammad Javad Zare Mohazabieh — Iran
Ahmad Reza Sohrabi — Iran
Mozhdeh Malek Oghli — Iran
Liu Qiang — China
The exhibition focuses on children affected by war, with themes referring to the students and teachers killed in the attack on the Minab school in Iran and the broader subject of “Children and War.”
The original international call for the exhibition was previously covered by feridundemir.org. The competition remains open for submissions until September 3, 2026.
The exhibition is organized by the Shiraz Municipality Cultural, Social and Sports Organization.
