Gio’s Author’s Salon Draws Attention at Umoristi a Marostica 2026
The 52nd edition of the prestigious Umoristi a Marostica exhibition in Italy continues to celebrate international caricature and humorous art through remarkable special exhibitions and artist tributes. One of the highlights of this year’s event is the dedicated “Author’s Salon” honoring Italian artist Mariagrazia Quaranta (GIO).
Following the publication of our feature on the 52nd International Exhibition of Humorous Graphics in Marostica, Mariagrazia Quaranta (GIO) kindly shared exclusive photographs from the exhibition space specially dedicated to her works. The images offer a closer look at the atmosphere of the “Gio’s Author’s Salon,” one of the most appreciated sections of the 2026 edition.
The salon presents a rich selection of GIO’s distinctive humorous illustrations and caricatures, reflecting her unique visual language, emotional storytelling, and refined artistic irony. Set within the historic atmosphere of Marostica, the exhibition space creates a powerful dialogue between contemporary humor art and Italian cultural heritage.
Among the shared photographs is also a warm and friendly moment featuring Mariagrazia Quaranta (GIO) together with renowned Italian artist Alessandro Gatto inside his studio. The image captures the spirit of friendship, artistic exchange, and mutual admiration that continues to define the international caricature community.
This year’s Umoristi a Marostica once again proves that humor and caricature are not only artistic expressions but also universal bridges connecting artists across cultures and generations.
We sincerely thank Mariagrazia Quaranta (GIO) for sharing these special moments and photographs with feridundemir.org
Big hugs to Mariagrazia Quaranta (GIO) and all the artists participating in Umoristi a Marostica 2026!
