Call for Entries: Prishtina International Poster Festival 2026 Invites Designers Worldwide with the Theme “Call for Peace”

The organizers of the Prishtina International Poster Festival (PIPF) 2026 have officially opened the international call for entries, inviting graphic designers, poster artists, students, and visual communicators from around the world to participate in this year’s edition.

Held under the central theme “Call for Peace”, the festival encourages participants to explore peace not merely as a political concept but as a universal human value expressed through visual communication. In an era marked by war, displacement, polarization, and growing social divisions, the festival seeks posters that inspire dialogue, empathy, justice, coexistence, and hope.

According to the organizers, peace should be understood as a continuous process built upon dignity, memory, reconciliation, and mutual understanding. Rather than relying solely on traditional symbols of peace, artists are encouraged to create works that address deeper issues such as healing after conflict, human rights, social responsibility, and solidarity.

The theme also carries particular significance for the Western Balkans, where shared history and collective memory continue to shape contemporary society. Through this perspective, the festival aims to connect regional experiences with universal aspirations for peace and human dignity.
