Denizli Metropolitan Municipality 6th International Cartoon Contest 2026

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality continues to bring together artists from across the globe through the universal language of art. We are proud to announce the 6th International Cartoon Contest, with the theme for 2026 set as “FOOTBALL.”

SUBJECT: “Football”

Football is more than just a sport; it is a universal form of expression that transcends languages, cultures, and borders. As our national team qualifies for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this contest aims to highlight the unifying power of the game. We invite cartoonists to interpret the passion of the fans, the pursuit of justice, fair play, and the human stories behind the world’s most popular sport through the sharp and reflective lens of humor.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Eligibility: Open to all amateur and professional cartoonists worldwide.
• Submission Deadline: Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 24:00.
• Quantity: A maximum of five (5) cartoons may be submitted per participant.
• Technical Requirements: * Submissions must be digital.
  • Size: A4, Resolution: 150–300 dpi, Format: JPEG.
  • File Size: Minimum 1 MB, Maximum 10 MB.
• AI Policy: Cartoons generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) will not be accepted.
• Originality: Works must not have received an award in any previous contest.

• 1st Place: 100,000 TRY
• 2nd Place: 70,000 TRY
• 3rd Place: 50,000 TRY
• Honorable Mention (3 units): 30,000 TRY
• Under 18 Years Old (2 units): 15,000 TRY
• Gürbüz Doğan EKŞİOĞLU Special Prize: 30,000 TRY

(Accommodation, transportation, and meal expenses for the winners will be covered by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for the award ceremony.)
