Call for Participation in the Exhibitions of the LectorInFabula Festival and the Saint-Just Festival
The Librexpression/LIBEX Centre, operating under the Giuseppe Di Vagno Foundation, has announced an international call for cartoonists and illustrators to participate in a major exhibition project focusing on the theme:
“The Dangers of Artificial Intelligence for Humanity”
Selected works will be showcased in two important international events in Italy and France during 2026.
International Exhibitions in Italy and France
A total of 60 selected drawings will be included in the exhibition program organized by the LIBEX Centre.
The exhibitions will take place:
- At the LectorInFabula International Festival in Putignano from September 17 until the end of December 2026.
- At the International Caricature and Press Cartoon Exhibition in Saint-Just-Le-Martel during late September and early October 2026.
The organizers also announced that all exhibited works will be published in a full-colour printed catalogue featuring the artist’s name, country, and artwork title.
Suggested Themes
Artists are invited to interpret the broad subject of artificial intelligence and its possible dangers for humanity. Suggested directions include:
- Artificial intelligence and unemployment
- Mass surveillance and loss of privacy
- AI-based mind control
- Military robotics and autonomous warfare
- Political or corporate control through AI technologies
The organizers emphasize that all original ideas related to the topic are welcome.
Submission Requirements
Participants should send:
- High-resolution artwork in JPEG or preferably PNG format
- Minimal or no text inside the artwork
- Artist’s full name, country, and title of the artwork
