The jury of the 46th International Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest 2026, consisting of Darko Drljevic, Klaus Pitter, Metin Peker, Nuri Köksal, and Yiğit Özgür, met in Istanbul on June 6, 2026 to evaluate the submitted works.
This year’s contest attracted 580 cartoonists from 60 countries, who submitted approximately 1,600 cartoons. Following a five-round evaluation process, the international jury selected the winners and recipients of the special awards.
The International Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest remains one of the world’s longest-running and most respected cartoon events, bringing together artists from different cultures through the universal language of humor and satire.
