Cartoons Talide 2026 People’s Choice Award Voting Opens
Voting is now open for the Cartoons Talide 2026 People’s Choice Award. The online exhibition features works created under the theme “World Power & Reality – Global Order in Transition.” Public voting will continue until August 31, 2026.
Feridun Demir is also among the participating artists with cartoon 215-1. Visitors can view the exhibition online and vote for their favorite work by sending the cartoon number together with their full name to competition@cartoons-talide.de

Vasco de Castro Retrospective Exhibition Opens in Portugal
A new retrospective dedicated to Portuguese cartoonist Vasco de Castro (1935–2021) opens on 7 August 2026 at the Museu Municipal de Arte Moderna Abel Manta in Gouveia. Titled O retrato como sismógrafo: Vasco de Castro revisitado, the exhibition brings together works from institutional and private collections while also exploring the artist’s intellectual friendship with writer Vergílio Ferreira. The exhibition will remain on view until 5 October 2026.
