About the Theme: Technology and Life

In an age where artificial intelligence and data-driven innovations are reshaping our lives, how do these technologies impact the human experience? This exhibition explores the future of human-machine collaboration and aims to raise awareness of the opportunities and challenges that advanced technologies bring.

Organized by China Daily and partners, the exhibition calls on cartoonists, illustrators, and creatives around the world to reflect on how technology influences daily life and human society — with imagination, humor, and insight.

Eligibility & Categories

Participants:

Open to professional and amateur cartoonists, illustrators, and art enthusiasts from around the world.

Categories:

• Adult Group: Age 18 and above
• Youth Group: Under 18

Submission Guidelines

1. Theme: Technology and Life(including topics such as impact on humanity, futuristic visions, tech in daily life, etc.)
2. Format:
   • JPG format
   • 300dpi resolution
   • Minimum size: 3000 pixels on the longer side
   • File size: 2MB–10MB
   • Up to 20 entries per participant
   • Single or series of artworks accepted
   • Each submission must include a title and brief description
3. Originality:
   • Works must be original. Plagiarism or copying is prohibited.
   • Published or previously awarded works are accepted.
   • AI-assisted or AI-generated works are accepted, but must be clearly labeled as such.
4. Contact Information Required:
   • Name, email, phone number
   • For youth and students: school name, grade (instructors optional)

Awards

Adult Group

• Gold Prize (1): ¥30,000 CNY + Certificate + Portfolio Book
• Silver Prize (2): ¥20,000 CNY + Certificate + Portfolio Book
• Bronze Prize (3): ¥10,000 CNY + Certificate + Portfolio Book
• Outstanding Prize (10): Award + Certificate + Portfolio Book
• Excellence Prize (100): Certificate + Portfolio Book

Youth Group

• Excellence Prize (100): Certificate + Digital Portfolio Book

Timeline

• Submission Period: Until July 15, 2025
• Review & Judging: July–August 2025
• Award Ceremony: Tentatively in September or October 2025

Submissions will be evaluated separately for each group. Please select your group honestly based on age. Awards and certificates will specify the relevant category (Adult or Youth).
