Exhibition of Cartoons from Japan Opens at “Karikatür Atölyesi” in Ankara
As part of the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of Turkish-Japanese relations, the “Cartoons from Japan” exhibition has opened at the “Karikatür Atölyesi” in Ankara. Renowned Japanese cartoonists Yoshiaki Yokota and Yu Kimura attended the opening.
In his welcome speech, Emre Yılmaz, founder of the “Karikatür Atölyesi”, expressed his delight at opening the exhibition season with such a special event, thanking everyone who attended. Representing the exhibition organizers and the participating artists, Yoshiaki Yokota provided insights into the exhibit and Japanese cartoon art. Following him, Yu Kimura shared his satisfaction with the exhibition.
The exhibition will run until November 14, and it is open to visitors from 14:00 to 19:00, except on Sundays and Mondays, at “Karikatür Atölyesi”, located at Üsküp Caddesi 19/A, Çankaya, Ankara.
