For people who want to maintain liver health:
1. Liver Fat Flames and Frames the Body–Fat in liver is like a flame, can lead to diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, cancers and early death. Achieving a healthy weight, stress management, balanced diet and physical activity can reduce fatty liver and add to longevity.
2. Hepatitis – Hepatitis testing, treatment if diagnosed, and vaccination against hepatitis B

Additional cues for theme Hepatitis:
• Hepatitis as well as fatty liver disease causes liver damage and cancer
• Hepatitis C can be cured; however, only 21% of people living with hepatitis C infection are diagnosed and only 13% have received curative treatment.
• Just 10% of people living with chronic hepatitis B are diagnosed
• Hepatitis B can be prevented with child immunisation with Hepatitis B vaccine
• All pregnant women should be tested for hepatitis B during their pregnancy
• Be aware while getting tattoos or body piercing

Who can participate?
• Professional and non-professional cartoonists, 18 years and above are welcome to participate.
How to participate?
• Please read the background note on the contest theme.
• Works must be original. AI based graphic techniques are not allowed. The submitted artwork(s) must not have been previously published or previously used for any other purpose.
• Works may be black & white or coloured.
• Each entry should include a covering letter with the cartoonist’s full name, country, Postal address, Contact no. and E-Mail ID.
• The digital works have to be sent in JPEG format with a minimum of resolution of 300 dpi (2480 x 3543 pixels).png and .tiff files are also acceptable (maximum size of 3 MB per cartoon) for digital cartoons.
• The cartoons are to be drawn on A4 format.
• Submissions must be static images with no Flash or other animation.
• Number of entries per contestant: maximum Three Cartoons.
• Text or captions, if any, should be in English.
• Each artwork should be accompanied by a short description (minimum 30 words, maximum 100 words)
• All submissions (files) must have the name and country of entrant included in the file.
• Works should not be awarded at other festivals / contests.
• Further, the cartoonist provides ILBS a limited, royalty-free, right & license to publish & publicly display the entries (whether or not winning an award) for non-commercial purposes such as for publicising the contest and the Awards.

• The content, thoughts, and views expressed in the creatives/illustrations will be the sole responsibility of the participating Artists.The ILBS will not be held responsible for any content, views expressed by the artists in the creatives/illustrations developed.
•The organizer (INSTITUTE OF LIVER AND BILIARY SCIENCES) cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged cartoons during the shipment.
•Works must not be older than one year.
•The Prizes will be taxed according to Indian legislation.
•The Organiser/ILBS shall not be responsible for the failure of a winner to receive the prize for reasons that are not related to the Organiser/ ILBS .
• By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these rules.
Publication rights
• Property rights – Prize-winning works will become the property of the organizer (ILBS) or theme sponsor. Further, the cartoonist provides Royalty-free and license to publish and publicly display the entries (Whether winning or not winning an award) for non-commercial purposes.
• By entering the competition, the cartoonist represents and warrants that the work is an original work of the cartoonist and does notinfringe on the rights of any third parties.
• All selected works for the exhibition may be used by the organizers to promote the contest.
• Awarded works remain the property of the organizer.
• Jury
• Decision of the judges/organisation will be final and binding.
• Decisions made by the jury cannot be challenged. No correspondence with the jury will be allowed on their decisions.
• Failure to follow entry directions as listed will result in disqualification.
