Simpsons Cartoon Art from the William Heeter and Kristi Correa Collection”, runs from July 13, 2024, to June 29, 2025.
“With our exhibition, we offer art enthusiasts and animation fans a glimpse into a world that once illuminated television screens and can now be admired as part of our cultural heritage at the Caricature Museum Krems,” says curator Anna Steinmair. “The Simpsons” is known for its exaggerated humor and sharp social commentary.
The exhibition features iconic scenes and characters such as Bart’s trip to Tijuana, Marge without her iconic beehive hairdo, and glimpses into Homer’s younger years. The famous couch gags from the opening sequences also guarantee even more laughs.
